Setting Your Destination Because of the complexity of wine distribution regulations, we have to limit the distribution of wines based on your shipping destination. In some states, some wines are available while other wines are not. In a few states, we are unable to ship wine at all. To avoid frustration, we suggest you select a shipping destination before you start to browse, so that we can tell you which wines are available for that destination. You can set or change your shipping destination via the Destination Selection box at the bottom of the home page or in the left navigation bar on each shopping page. Selecting products Our catalog is organized by region. You can find the products divided by region or by category. Click region button if you want to select an Italian Region of wines production or select wine by category Red wine or White wine sections of the site. Click the Add to shopping cart button for any items that interest you.To continue shopping after putting something in your cart, you will be asked your shipping destination before to send your order. Finalizing Your Order When you have finished browsing, click to go the Shopping Cart page. On that page, you enter the quantity for each of the items you've selected, delete items from your cart, and preview your total cost. You can also clear the entire cart. When you are finalized your order, press the Checkout button. We then automatically switch to secure browser mode to ensure that the data you send us as you are ordering is encrypted during transmission for safety. Logging In The first page of the check out process is the Login page. If this is your first order (or if you ordered we ask you for your email address so that we can set up an account for you automatically as you complete your order. We also give you the opportunity to sign up for our email newsletter so you can hear about new wines, special offers, and new features on the web site. If you are a returning user, your name, your email address and all information about you will appear automatically. Billing and Shipping Information You may pay for your order with Visa, MasterCard, American Express (service at the moment not available). Your credit card information will be encrypted during transmission of payment addressed directly to our bank to safe your privacy. We offers a safe-shopping guarantee that protects customers against unauthorized credit card charges. You may also send a money order as payment, but your order will not be processed until we receive the money. All orders are delivered using international courier. You may ask us to ship the goods to a different address you desire. Costs of delivery depend on country of expedition. Relative cost are applied with order of goods. Order Summary On the Order Summary page we give you a recap of the order, including the items being ordered, cost of the order, billing method, billing address, shipping address and shipping method. If you wish to change the contents of the order, click the Shopping Cart link on the top of the page. For any other changes, click the appropriate button next to the item that you want to change. If you want expedited delivery, select the appropriate option in the Shipping Method box and click the Change Shipping button. To ensure delivery in compliance with local liquor regulations, expedited delivery is not available to all destinations. In your order, you must provide your date of birth so that we can verify that you are of legal age to purchase wine. You must also confirm that the person who will be receiving the wine is at least 21 years old. The recipient will also be required to provide proof of age at the time of delivery. Order Confirmation You will receive confirmation by email when your order has been processed. After the package has been delivered you will be so kind to confirm us when the package was delivered and who signed for it. Delivery Tips All orders placed before 2 P.M. Italian time are processed the same business day. Length of delivery is based on business days. Weekends and holidays are not included. All deliveries require the signature of an adult over the age of 21. Someone of legal age must be at the shipping address during the day to sign for and accept the packages. Packages cannot be left without the signature of an adult over the age of 21. |
